Montclair, New Jersey 07043 This will be a chance to reconnect with old cast-mates, or get to know others that you may be working with in the future! Montclair Operetta Club, aka MOC Musical Theatre, is often called the ‘Best Kept Secret in Montclair’. In existence for over 80 years, it is the oldest theatrical organization of it’s kind. Formerly a rival with the Paper Mill Playhouse, MOC decided to forge their contributions to the community with Broadway quality productions at low cost to the public. MOC is ever evolving and changing to work on servicing the community and bringing live musical theater to all levels of the public. We have 2 annual productions which use all ages of cast from 5 years old to 85 (and older!). We are always looking for helping hands in set design, construction, painting, lighting, sound and other crew work. Volunteers who are crafty seamstresses can sew their wares with our costume committee. If you have a flare of creativity with hair and makeup, you could help get the cast stage-ready. Come be a part of this exciting industry. Many of our volunteers and performers who honed their craft here and have gone on to Broadway, Film and Television. But most of all, enjoy the show! |
